About Us

SwipeOut is a movement, a revolutionary and simple app, that will change the world with your spare change. Here’s how it works…

If you pay $3.75 for your Starbucks coffee, the app will round up your transaction to 4$ and the difference, $0.25 cents, will be donated to the SwipeOut Foundation. 100% of your spare change will be contributed to “swiping out” the three most pressing and preventable problems facing the world poorest—hunger, water born disease and human trafficking. Each month, you will receive stories and videos showing the impact you are making by being part of the SwipeOut movement.

SwipeOut directs the collective donations to the most efficient and cutting-edge charities and social entrepreneurs working to solve these problems.

Want to know what your impact would be? For about $20 a month, the average "round ups" per user, per month…. You could provide 200 meals for hungry Americans (that’s 2,400 meals per year!) Or you could provide a clean, sustainable source of water for 10 children in India each month—that’s 120 children per year that you personally protect from water-borne illness Or you could make a down payment on rescuing and rehabilitating a young Cambodian girl trafficked into slavery.

100% of a your donations will go to worthy causes and are fully tax-deductible —SwipeOut Foundation’s overhead will be covered by individual, corporate and foundation donations. You can put a limit on what you give, but we do ask that you keep it at a minimum of $10.00 per month.

We encourage you to not only join the movement, but spread the word! Imagine if we mobilize only 250,000 people swiping each month—this could generate $5M/mos to SwipeOut causes—that’s $60M annually! SwipeOut is currently in pre-registration and will be ready for formal kick-off in January 2015.
